It's simple! - When you want to read a document better, press the ReadPal button. ReadPal will extract the text from the document (Microsoft Word example shown) and display it to you in a format that is both easier and faster to read. Set your favorite style! ReadPal automatically displays the text in the format that you have chosen. You always read your favorite way even when original text is small or hard to read. Choose your Reading Mode. (ReadPal has three Reading Modes) The Banner Reader ... for maximum speed and efficiency. The Sentence Reader ... stay focused and concentrated. The Column Reader ... for total comfort and ease of reading. Full Screen View which can be used in all reading Modes... reduces glare and eye-strain. Reading Modes Banner Reader - Rapid sequence of a set group of words. The Banner Mode of reading is the most brain-friendly way to read. You can absorb information more comfortably at higher speeds, (42% faster). The text is displayed in the same place so your eyes do not have to move about the screen and refocus for every word. This speeds reading and helps prevent the drifting and loss of concentration that often happens while reading on-screen. You control; your reading speed, the number of words displayed at a time and the formatting, always read your way. Sentence Reader - Sequence display of timed whole sentences. The Sentence Reader presents just one whole sentence at a time; one after the other, until the end of the document is reached. Adjust your reading speed, as you read, using the up and down arrows. Reading long documents, especially on-screen, there is a tendency to slow down and lose concentration. This does not happen with Sentence and Banner Reading. The text presentation also makes it easier to maintain focus and concentration. Control your reading speed and the format to always read your way. Column Reader - Arranges in newspaper like columns for easy reading. Newspapers use columns as they are easier and quicker to read. (Imagine how lost your eyes would become if they had to read across a whole newspaper with no columns!). ReadPal can present documents to you in this easy-to-read way. Just click on the Column to move onto the next page. You control; One or two columns, the formatting, always read your way. Full Screen View - Can be used for any of the above Reading modes! It eliminates clutter by presenting just the text you are currently reading on a black background. You can use this reading mode with the Banner, Sentence or Column Readers. Eliminate annoying web-ads, Reduce eye-strain due to glare, Good Feng Shui - an uncluttered screen helps keep the mind clear, Good for displays and presentations.
