We've created a 'short-list' below of some key features on our site and the ways you can use them.
Don't worry if you're not familiar with our type of Bulletin Board, we've also provided step-by-step instructions on how to go about configuring these features and options, and remember there is absolutely no charge whatsoever for our services, no subscriptions, no hidden area's that require payment - just good ole fashioned free content and free service!!!. Enjoy!!!. Bookmarking your favourite downloads If you're a member of one of the many social bookmark sites (such as Reddit, Digg, etc) you can use the icons at the top of each download to submit them to the relevant site for future reference or just simply to share them with that site!. Here's what to look for .... Track a specific post or category If you would like to be kept informed of any replies made to any one particular post, then this can be done easily. Whilst viewing the individual post you wish to be kept informed about, click the 'Options' drop down menu (below 'NEW TOPIC') and select 'Track this topic' then on the next page which appears choose how you wish to be kept informed (such as immediately by email or daily, etc) clicking 'Proceed' to confirm your choices. Similarly, if you wish to receive notification when new post's or replies are made in an entire category you can do this from the same drop down menu but this time choose 'Subscribe to this forum'. Here's what to look for .... DOWNLOAD SECTION FEATURES Rate your favourite freeware Rating your favourite freeware couldn't be easier!. Simply navigate to any file in the DOWNLOADS SECTION and under the 'Statistics' heading click then hover your mouse over the blocks beside 'Add Rating'. As you do this, notice the number to the right of the blocks change - choose what level of rating you wish to add as the stars light up and then simply click on it. You can rate a download from 1 to 5 - the higher the number the better your opinion of it. Here's what to look for .... Reporting a broken link and keeping informed on a download (members only) Although we run regular checks, sometimes we miss one or two and if you notice a broken link in the download section of the site (i.e. you click 'Download' and nothing happens or you get a 'page cannot be displayed' error) please use the 'Report this file as broken' link to let us know about it. Staying with the 'Operations' heading, you can also use the 'Notify me when this file is updated' link to stay informed of any updates or changes made to your favourite downloads. When you click the link you will notice is changes to 'Stop notifying me when this file is updated' and by clicking this link again you will unsubscribe from any notifications on that download. Here's what to look for .... And remember, if you have an RSS reader you can always subscribe to our RSS feeds, just lookout for the ![]() Remember to let us know if you require help with anything on our site as we want everyone to enjoy their stay here and get the most from our site!.
