Open source planetarium program equipped with a conjunction engine, eclipse predictor and epidermides viewer.

Aciqra is a portable virtual planetarium program/simulator that has the power to predict certain celestial events. Its current database has nearly 120,000 stars and all 109 Messier objects. All 7,840 NGC objects are expected to be added after futher development.

While it won't even come close to the power provided by programs like Stellarium (http://www.stellarium.org), it will satisfy the needs of the casual amateur astronomer.
