The alarm clock of justice found at this link
https://freewarebb.com/Alarm-Clock-Just...2-file1717.html
fried my sound card and I have to replace it. Its not a real program meant to function - it's an evil prank. Since my sound card is built into my motherboard (laptop) I have to replace the whole thing now. If you try this program and afterward all the sounds on your pc sound metallic, echo and chopped up, your sound card has been killed too. Stay away from this product. I tried it dispite my rule of not trying freewares that don't have comments or few votes and reviews and I will never again stray away from that rule. Thanks for your report although on testing this program we have not been able to replicate the same issue as you have been experiencing. We have nevertheless placed a notice on the file and will monitor this software. In the meantime have you tried reinstalling or updating your sound card driver as until we are 100% sure this program can be responsible for the issues you are experiencing it may actually be a coincidence that your problem has developed upon installing this software or at the very least the program may have inadvertently affected the drivers which we wouldn't consider malicious but more of a programming bug in the software which we would flag to the author to fix.

If you require any assistance on troubleshooting your problem, please let me know through this topic, such as locating the most recent driver for your sound card device, etc and I'm happy to help.

Kind Regards
Marko

The Backup Alarm sets the volume to full blast volume. It's as though you opened the system volume and set it to 100%. This is the only way the program can "fry" your sound card. Your sound card would have been fried sooner or later.

We've had the program installed and in use for over 24 hours now and simply can't replicate this issue therefore we have to assume that your sound card is the actual issue here, or at least it may be your driver therefore we have removed the warning from this download. If you are able to provide any further details regarding this issue or require further help please don't hesitate to reply here (IMG:https://freewarebb.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Cheers

I agree, the application must have messed up the sound card drivers on your machine. Have you tried unstalling and reinstalling the sound card?
