Ashampoo Burning Studio is a popular disc burning software application for Windows operating systems which comes with a simple and user-friendly interface suitable for both proficient and novice users. The latest version of Ashampoo Burning Studio 2010 comes with an 'Expert Functions' feature to create modified copies of existing CD/DVD/Blu-ray discs and create data discs by using advanced settings.

Features of Ashampoo Burning Studio 2010:

* Burn movies and photos to DVDs and data discs
* Movie editor with DVD authoring
* Create high-quality DVD slideshows
* Copy CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs
* Create and burn disc images
* Erase rewriteable discs
* Expert burn functions for full control
* Create covers, labels, and booklets

Go to this site to register for free license key (it is a two step registration process): http://www2.ashampoo.com/webcache/html/1/t..._5928_2_USD.htm

Go to this site to download (site is in German - just click on the blue 'Download' button): http://www.computerbild.de/download/Ashamp...ion-430765.html

The second email you receive from Ashampoo will contain the license key plus instructions on how to insert the key.

PLEASE NOTE:
Ashampoo will continue to send you emails; details of offers and promotions for their products. I really don't mind because they develop some good and useful software but you should be aware of this, especially if you hate receiving these types of emails.

Hey Marko - There are no comments on any site which suggest otherwise so I believe the license would be forever. Unlike some of the security software which is generally limited to a one year free license I am pretty certain this one is lifetime.

No doubt Ashampoo will release bigger and better versions of their Burning Studio but once the user has an account and a genuine licensed copy they will generally be able to upgrade at a heavily discounted price....that is, of course, if they choose to do so.

Cheers.....JIM
