Halite is yet another open-source BitTorrent client and is based on the excellent libtorrent library from Rasterbar Software. What makes Halite stand out is its remote control interface that allows its users to easily monitor and control the application from a mobile phone.

Features:
Multiple downloads.
Displays more detailed information for the selected torrent.
Connection limits both global and per-torrent.
Transfer rate limits again global and per-torrent.
Minimize to tray with transfer rate summary.
Association with ".torrent" files.
Option to limit the number of instances to one.
Estimated time remaining indicator.

What's New
Based on libtorrent 0.14 which brings with it:
Disk cache support
'Managed torrent' queue system
Improved seeding and choking behavior
Resource usage optimizations
Many more fixes and improvements (code.rasterbar.com/libtorrent/browser/tags/libtorrent-0_14/ChangeLog)
Optional port randomizations (both main and DHT).
Numerous internal settings are now exposed by the GUI.
Plays nice by Vista/Server 2008 UAC rules. See note above.
Rewritten XML fileformat (again) with greatly improved robustness.
