Radio Downloader is a utility to allow people to easily download radio station content.
It brings Podcast-like abilities to stream downloading, as well as handling Podcasts. This gives you the convenience of being able to subscribe to regular downloads of your favourite programmes, which you can then listen to on your pc or MP3 player.

Radio Downloader supports different types of content via plugins - the following plugins are currently included:
  • BBC Radio - Allows you to download radio programmes made available via the BBC iPlayer.
  • Podcast - Allows you to download files made available as attachments to RSS feeds.

Radio Downloader is supported on Windows XP, Vista and 7.

BBC Radio Provider
  • Stopped AAC downloads failing by updating how authString value is passed.
  • NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound errors from flvstreamer are now handled.

Core Application
  • Fixed ErrorType of RemoveFromList returned from provider causing all downloads to hang.
  • Made database connection variables Shared as well as ThreadStatic.
  • Fixed crash when cancelling active download.
  • Stopped subscription check preventing writes to the database.
  • Added primary key to episodeext table to prevent duplicate entries.
  • Error message is given when unable to copy template database instead of crashing.
  • 'Last Download' column in subscriptions list is now updated.
  • Adjusted column widths are now remembered in the Downloads view.
  • Added the ability to sort by column in the Downloads view.
  • Added 'Duration' to the list of selectable columns in the Downloads view.
  • The columns displayed in the Downloads view are now user selectable.
  • Taskbar overlays are now used for status in Windows 7 instead of the system tray.
  • Replaced DldError event in the provider interface with an exception.

  • Added a page to the website which users are directed to when updating.
