When we last updated Flipping PDF Reader, we made sure it was still virus and malware free and the developer's site had no proven issues in any of the reputable site advisory services. In the unlikely event you notice any issues, please let us know immediately, otherwise we will schedule this software for another scan the next time it is updated.

This is a great PDF viewer only!!   :good:

But beware, pages that are to be printed, are converted to jpg images before printing, reducing the quality of the PDF document.
I tried this again. I scanned the exe file with MSE, and it showed no threats, but Malwarebytes showed a positive, so I quarantined it. I then uploaded the file to VirusTotal and had it scanned. VirusTotal showed 1/41. Is this a false positive?
I'd be inclined to say this could be treated as a false positive SP, none of the other vendors acknowledge a problem with the software - obviously, no-one can be 100% sure a file like this is clean, it could potentially be something that none of the other vendors have picked up on so I'd say be cautious, and as always make sure you have adequate firewall/antivirus protection and you should be fully covered for any eventuality :)
From my context menu,Slimcleaner will upload and scan the file with Cloud AV,( Avast, Avira and FProt) and it came back clean.
An interesting concept! I'm going to take a closer look at this one, will report back after testing.
Have now tested this software. It is quite buggy. It's fine if you're just using its right click context menu option to open PDFs, but importing PDF files into the software's library is very hit and miss. I tried importing 6 PDFs, 3 were successful, the other 3 failed. A 50% success rate is not great!

I have reported the issues to the support team (who responded very promptly by the way) and am currently waiting to hear their explanation. I still believe this is a good and very useful software but I would suggest waiting until an update is applied which addresses the bugs.

I can also confirm that MBAM flags it for malware - if/when I hear back from the support team again I'll ask them about that too.
Okay, heard back from the support team and it turns out the PDFs in question included permission denials which interfered with the conversion process. So, not really the fault of of the software. However, potential users should be aware that probably not all PDFs are going to co-operate with this program.

On a side note: I was immensely impressed with the level of co-operation from the support team. They responded very promptly, showed genuine concern, and a willingness to assist.

All in all - I would definitely recommend this software.
