Using a PC can be a deeply frustrating experience, we have all come to expect our computers to be sluggish or unresponsive at times, for no apparent reason.

Unless you're a power-user, you probably don't know what's causing the frustrations, those moments where some mysterious process is hogging your PC's resources. Even if you are a power-user, it can take quite some time to pin-point the causes.

The Solution
Soluto's goal is to bring an end to the frustrations PC users encounter.
Soluto developed technology that tackles this problem from two different directions:

Frustration detection
Our patent-pending low level driver technology detects when you're frustrated by your PC and tells you which application is causing it.

Power of the crowd
Soluto harnesses the power of the crowd to learn which actions really eliminate frustrations and improve user experience, and leverages this user wisdom for the benefit of all PC users.

By using Soluto's software, you're putting a whole community of PC power-users at your desk to help you improve your PC experience.

By sheer exposure of this information, Soluto will help software vendors to start prioritizing the user by designing products with a smooth, frustration-free user experience in mind.

Scanned & Checked: Mar 09 2012 08:22 AM

When we last updated Soluto, we made sure it was still virus and malware free and the developer's site had no proven issues in any of the reputable site advisory services. In the unlikely event you notice any issues, please let us know immediately, otherwise we will schedule this software for another scan the next time it is updated.

This is billed as ?anti-frustration software? and I cannot disagree. Most free startup managers are devoid of any clear help/guidelines as to exactly what the startup items mean and how best to deal with them, so they are not generally suitable for less experienced users. Soluto simply and cleverly rectifies that situation, making it very easy for even novices to manage their startup items. Soluto is still in beta mode but I have tested it (on a Vista system) and experienced no bugs or issues.

I like this program but it seems like they are stuck in beta land..lost! I've not run into any probs per se but quite a few programs registered a unknown at this time deal and i had to then either make a best guess or see what everyone else did when deciding whether to delay or remove. Hopefully they can get that solved soon and get out of beta. Besides, no matter how good the product is, when it says beta, i normally prefer not to use them until at least out of testing.
This needs updating Marko - latest version is 1.3.438.0 Beta (I believe).
Yes, I have been using it for a long time, at least 12 months. It has been beta all this time, but I have had no problems other than (as Gremlinn says) it does not 'know' common programs. Currently I have 'Norton Internet Security', 'AnVir Task Manager' and 'Appsmaker OptimalDisc Update' all held as "still under research". If I get an iTunes update, it always holds this as a 'rare item' for weeks. However used in conjunction with WinPatrol's 'Delayed Start' function, I can manage my start-up quite well. Two minor niggles, I can't find out what version I have and they removed the facility to report to Soluto directly, by their 'I'm frustrated' link. Still a useful app.
