    Configure Windows Media Player 11 to place ripped audio files in a different folder than your "My Music" folder.

    By default, when you rip music from a CD in Windows Media Player 11, the ripped media files (WMA by default) are placed in your "My Music" folder, which in Windows XP is located at C:Documents and Settings[YOUR_USER_NAME]My DocumentsMy Music.
