BCC is short for Blind Carbon Copy and selecting this method allows you to send emails to multiple recipients without each knowing who else you have sent it to. If you use CC (Carbon Copy) to send multiple emails then all recipients will be able to see everyone who has also received it.
For some strange reason the BCC option in Windows Mail is not enabled by default. Here is how to make it appear in all emails:
1) Open Windows Mail and click on the Create Mail button in the main menu.
2) A new blank email will now open.
3) In the New Message, click on View and select the All header option.
The BCC dialogue box should now appear in your email window and this is by far the best option to use for sending emails to multiple recipients. In most cases you have no idea who your friends and associates might forward your emails on to and BCC will keep all names and email addresses hidden from view.
