Dr.Web CureIt is a very good alternative to the free versions of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SUPERAntiSpyware. Yes, it is the same type of scanner/remover software.

While MBAM and SAS get all the publicity and kudos, Dr.Web CureIt is right up there as a viable alternative or for additional scanning of a heavily infected machine (or suspected infected machine).

One advantage of Dr.Web CureIt is that is doesn't require installation....always a big plus for this type of on-demand software.
