Heya! I'm new to the forum and glad to be here. I do freeware reviews (though I haven't gotten many so far) on my site which you can access by clicking the banner in my signature. I'd be happy to do a review of any of your freeware just contact me. I don't make freeware myself but I use it a lot. I hope I can be of service to anyone and help out around the forums though I don't have any tech credentials.

Hello! I didn't know where to introduce myself.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! As for my reviews I think I'll get better as I go along. I'm going to try to keep things in layman's terms on my website (as I'm not techie enough to speak geek as much as I wish I were and I've seen enough technical sites that put things in hard to understand terms so I decided to go against the flow). I think you've got a great community here and I'm glad to be a part of it. Most other sites I've been to are not as welcoming as you to a newbie in the website world so kudos to you guys. You'll get a good review from me! (As soon as I get around to reviewing :man_in_love: )

Layman's terms is good!! Technicians/experts tend to loose sight of the fact that the vast majority of users are novices; mums and dads, grandmas and granddads. Explaining things in plain simple terms devoid of all the computerspeak and associated jargon helps 'everyone' comprehend.
So, not being "techie enough to speak geek" may well be an advantage.
Best wishes.....Jim

I wasn't too techie but I don't know how well I stuck to layman's terms. Most English speaking adults can probably understand me but I didn't keep it to USA Today's standards or anything that simple. I'm a writer by nature so I tend to add too much detail to my writings.
Tell me what you think, you can find my blog by clicking on the banner in my signature, add a comment (anyone can no blogger registration required). I did a review on Disk Digger because I've used a bunch of file recovery programs and I know my way around their features. I hope to turn my reviews into a podcast also, so if you've ever dreamed of being on the radio and want to offer your tech support just give me a buzz and I'd be glad to have you on my show! (As soon as I find a way to record Skype of Vent...)
As for being not "techie enough to speak geek" I'm not but my dad is fluent in it so I've picked up on some things and hope to be able to have enough knowledge to translate some things. :man_in_love:
I hope I haven't blathered too much! I tend to do that well caffeinated. XP
