We've just installed a new toolbar across the bottom of the site which contains some handy links, please let us know what you think of it - anything missing, something there that we could live without?
Cheers

Can be useful.
An option to shrink it horizontally might be nice.
There's an empty space in the middle (facebook and twitter could go under "share").
Would be less intrusive and people would keep it open instead of minimized.

Hi DaComboMan, thanks for the suggestions
Unfortunately, we can't move the Facebook or Twitter links to the 'share' section, the provider we use doesn't provide that option
Similarly, again, the provider doesn't allow us to minimize the toolbar any other way, thanks for the suggestions though

As more and more websites move to always stay connected with every major social networking site, I find all this distracting.
It's a personal opinion one I'm likely to lose but with all this "noise" added to webpages I find myself disabling JavaScript while surfing. No addons; simply disable in options tab of whatever browser I'm using at the moment.
Perhaps I'm getting old and slow to adapt to ever changing Internet conditions...
That's the thing with evolution, either adapt of die.

Wise words Bala, and so true, like other sites we do need to try and keep up with the current flow otherwise we'll loose the fight to bring safe software to the masses

I noticed that CNet has added one recently.

I think Techie-Buzz used to have one (Bala7 would agree i'm sure!).
But i do like the fact that a related pop link comes around when viewing a specific article.
That i like!

But Mizdoc, this one is not installed or anything, it is just part of the FreewareBB site and will only appear when you are visiting us. It doesn't leave anything behind on the PC.
I agree with you on the installed Toolbars, I don't like 'em either.
Cheers now....Jim
