FF5 Beta wasn't due till June this year, I did see a few site's claim it was available but it turned out not to be the case, could be available from someone by now I guess - did you manage to find a link Jimbo?

Yes mate, FF 5 is listed on the FileForum site HERE.
BTW: LinkExtend shows the FileForum site as being Amber. Six of the seven services included in LinkExtend (including both WOT & MSA) rate the site Green. The one and only detractor being "Complete Status", who I have never heard of, and who rate the site Red.
Cheers .....Jim

Yep, see that rating now Jim, problem is with most 'responsible' download sites (including ours) is all it takes really is 1 bad download to upset the apple cart - I like to consider us here as a little more pro-active and genuine about our listings and will openly remove anything we don't agree with to safeguard our users, though as I say all it takes is 1 bad download and someone to report our site to one of these services and it appears in those listings as something like 'take caution on this website'.
Fileforum is probably no different, the odd bad apple here or there and a particular service (in this case most probably automated) picks up on it and flags it - we've had the same problem before also but we take steps to rectify the problem immediately whereas others maybe don't.
As for FF, I'll give it a whirl myself and put it up on the site a little later depending on how things go

Yes, well I mentioned that rating so you were aware and could remove the link if you wanted to.
As I said, I've never heard of that particular service. Personally, I think FileForum is a perfectly safe site, and 6 out of 7 advisory services agree.

Only difference I can see with FF5 is it's new 'channel switching' feature which changes the way in which we can all try and test the latest beta versions, nothing really in the way of anything that I would find interesting as such, looks identical to the latest release with (from what I can see) no additional features other than that above which they're called 'Aurora'.

If anyone is having a hard time with FF4, Mozilla still have links for the previous version here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
