The initial advice was based on the information given by you, and in all my years of IT I've never came across a BIOS that couldn't be reflashed unless, of course, the motherboard or components were seriously damaged by water or electricity surges - neither of these you mentioned, nor did you mention anything else which would lead me to believe your BIOS was unflashable - yet your computer expert professes the chip was "fried" - maybe you enlightened him more than us?. Either way, your conduct here is unacceptable, we all remain polite at all times, yet you saw fit to throw an insult my way unnecessarily (and I quote .... "And see my reply to Marko so that maybe you can give me a more intelligent reply!") - try doing that on any other site and the chances are you would have been flammed left, right and centre, probably by the very people you insulted.

Our way of dealing with this is simply to lock the topic and move on - like another topic we had to lock because of your impatient and rude manner - but just when we think the issue is over, then comes a PM from you in my inbox with more insults, so to avoid a repetition of this happening again your PM access was disabled. THEN we get an email (or rather Jim did) which contains, yes, more insults - you've left us with no choice whatsoever, so have fun elsewhere cause your time here is at an end and you're banned - goodbye.
Please remember that we have people from many different timezones on the site and if your post requires a reply it could take longer at some at some points because of this.
