Here's a little gem of a tip if you're into different themes and wallpapers ... when you first install Windows 7 it selects themes based on your country, for example, our Australian friends would get a choice of some Australian themes, us in the UK would get UK themes and our American counterparts would obviously get US themes.

If you wanted access to all the themes that are in Windows 7 all you do is hit the Windows button and in the search box just enter:
    C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT
    ... and hit ENTER.

Now you'll see a load of folders like below:
    Attached Image: 19-08-2011 11-07-23.png

Each folder represents a different Country, AU for Australia, CA for Canada, GB for Great Britain, US for the United States, and ZA for South Africa and so on.

To install the theme for any of the countries, just go into the relevant folder, for example MCT-AU (Australia) and then into it's respective 'Theme' folder and double-click 'AU.theme'. Do this for any of the other folders and you'll see your theme change :good:

Marko - You must be a mind reader my friend. I was just about to post very similar comments concerning additional free official Windows 7 themes from Microsoft.

Anyway, will just add that information here now:

Windows 7 comes with a nice array of built-in themes but did you know you can also download many additional themes from Microsoft?

Go to THIS PAGE to view and download available themes.

There are 20 themes in all, with titles such as; Beach Sunsets, Birds of Prey, Castles of Europe and Lighthouses.

They are all completely free. To install a theme, just download it, then right-click on the file and choose "Open".
