    Hi Everyone,

Yes, I installed USB Guardian 1.9.0.............This is what results from such.........
Installer gave an OPT OUT for Best Security Tips toolbar but, unchecking had no
effect and BST is NOT good.
The files for this software ARE numerous and spread out all over the place.

Now that I've vented, the rest is up to you all. The time it takes to undo the bad is
so annoying and if I were the Internet police, I would jail all of these unsavory
software publishers. Harsh you say? I don't think so.

    Bye for now.

Bozzie, from what I saw there is an option to opt-out of the toolbar install, however, on double checking the toolbar website it does appear they are in fact rated negatively in more than one site advisory and have been accused of distributing malware from a viable source so this software is history from our site :)
Thanks for taking the time to report this :good:

        Marko,
Opt Out, yes but, it does no good to uncheck because toolbar gets installed anyway.
In my last thoughts about this, I will say that the software publisher is just as unsavory as BST.

Oh, BTW, your site has come a loooooooong way and with some great ideas too.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK EVERYONE!

        Have a nice day.

Bozzie- try Antirun , I have used it for a month without any problems- dont think a toolbar was offered.
---- pity toolbars are opt out and never opt in.
