    I'll create another thread at some point detailing my previous home network setup, when it was in full swing it was worthy of any internet cafe, in fact I couldn't get rid of the neices and nephews at the weekend because of it!!

      So I take it we have no musically creative peeps amongst us?. I messed a little a few years back with the whole MIDI thing but never really took to it - I am (or was) a keyboard player and drummer some years ago but haven't put my hand to anything recently. I still have a fab keyboard in the attic that I've threatened to dust down and hook up to the computer but never really got round to it ... suggested a while ago that I may purchase a drum kit but the wife didn't really go for it - only space we have is in the attic and I'm sure everyone can imagine how nice that would sound :sarcastic:

      Great to see you guys voting :good:

        I don't have the gift, but it's in the bottom of my heart to play around with music. Hope I get to someday, but only technology would make it possible for me. No hope I will ever be able to read music. BTW, wasn't there a famous composer who couldn't read music. I don't know much of the great composers, but I love many of their works...

              I do have *several* external HDDs plugged into the PC & Laptop, via 7 hub splitters, each w a function »Music »Software »Data, etc & each one has its own Backup HDD.
              Meaning, sometimes I lack alphabet letters for it all ... :scratch_one-s_head: ArkArkArk !!
              Wireless printer, a laptop cooler (that thing alone is 3 letters!! More on that later), card reader, Bluetooth mini-dongle, iPods, etc.
              Plus each system has a Logitech wireless mouse & kb, webcams. ...
              Also a small everyday speaker & a separate connection for the sound system :music:
              And rcvd my HP TP last month »Wow indeed!! It is a beauty :wub: {Yes, got it at the "fire sale" at $150.CAD for the 32G}

              ***********
              So anyway, long story short, I thought it was normal to have all this stuff plugged in at the same time, and was puzzled by the fact I lacked enough letters for them all to show up at the same time on my USB manager (I use Zentimo), so went into a store to ask a "specialist" what does one do in this case, thinking a real geek wd know ... Well, they were ROFL!! Apparently, they had never heard of anyone using up all the letters of the alphabet!
              Well darn, was I :blush: embarrassed or what!!
              Hope I made you all laugh today!! :rolleyes:
              Ciao
