Jim, I have a concern regarding the promotion of this site as it has the appearance of being another one set up for the sole purpose of collecting
" clicks " from those looking for media converters.
Besides there are plenty of "always free" available on FBB (I have been using https://freewarebb.com/files/file/8116-media-cope/?_rcid=173
for a while, does most conversions)

jjj, I think as long as the site is not dangerous and the download on offer is clean (which it is) then there is no harm in offering up the page for others to make their minds up - I've seen a few downloads recently that remind me of this site and the program interface too so it's possible this is another developer trying to muscle in on the freeware market only to change the license to shareware, but as I say, so long as everything remains safe and clean then no harm done :)

This particular download is shareware also, it's just that the developers are giving it away for the moment.

I had my doubts too jjj but as Marko pointed out, if the site is safe and the software is clean then I believe we owe it to our readers to make them aware of the offer and allow them to make up their own minds. Some may find the fast speed and batch conversion from WAV to FLAC in this one attractive.

I don't actually test any of these giveaways and we are not making any recommendations, merely putting the information up for our readers who can then decide for themselves.
