Claw - This freeware is already listed on FreewareBB: https://freewarebb.com/files/file/6403-everything/

Everything is a very good desktop search tool, especially for XP users - but it is also well known, its speed and features have been well documented.

No need to be sorry at all Claw, it's never a problem mate. Hope the little one is feeling better very soon - you hate to see them hurting, bless 'em.

I've been using this prog for a couple of yrs now and i wouldn't use anything else! I used to have copernic but that ate alot of memory along with alot of other desktop searchers.

Thanks Gremmy, I appreciate it. As for Everything,,yea, no need to keep all those old files for programs you don't have anymore, especially if you are never going to install them again. Might as well keep it all neat and tidy.I can't believe I just used the word "tidy",,,twice !!!!

I've got all there free tools but only installed the care tool and timefreeze. I'm impressed with their aio but i've yet to use the freeze yet. Most times i just use sandboxie if im in doubt about a file or when surfing but i have freeze in place just in case..lol
They products seem to be high quality

Hello fellows...dragging in on the tail end of this one. Hope your daughter is getting on Claw...

Like to know how/if this compares to Microsoft 4.0 desktop search. I have XP and am using 4.0. It's good but I would like something that would index locked folders if I could get my hands on one...

Which brings up another subject...Folder and file locking software...topic for another post...
