          Yes, thanks Claw - interesting.

          Seems to me they have added any product which includes additional software, regardless of whether that additional software is legit or not. And regardless of options to decline - the criteria does seem a tad harsh.

          Many software products in their list of shame involve legit products and the vast majority include options to decline. If one were to strictly follow those parameters the list would be ginormous. Conversely, the list of products 'leftover' would be very short indeed.

            Exactly Jim ,,way too harsh,,but I figured that it may make for a decent guide. It gives you some idea of what is going on and maybe even help someone to be alittle cautious and observant of what they are downloading. A list to help those users that don't know what software is legit or not so that they thread lightly.

              Yes. It took me a while to get used to clicking "advanced options" just to avoid the unwanted extras.

                I agree about the software having the decline option. I'm all for the authors making money but also giving users the option to decline. The list should really only contain the software that sneaks it in.
