Hi 56 Wrecker,
We had a lot of high wind here recently, so strong that the chickens are laying their eggs 3 times, and even though our local beaches are non-nudist, there's no point the ladies wearing bikinis, they just get blown right off!!......LOL......

Ha-Ha !!!
With the quality of "female bodies" around HERE.....we'd be out in the WIND...draping them with TARPS !!!
Ha-Ha !!!
Yep. I know what you mean about the chickens....MY Chickens refuse to lay when the Wind is above 40 miles/hour ( approx 66 km/hr ).  UNDER 40 mph yet above 15 mph WIND...each egg comes out with a small attached parachute...for safety.  Seems to work ok.
Ha-Ha !!!  ( first liar doesn't stand a chance....Ha-Ha !!! )
I'm saving the parachutes to use with "bottle-rockets" on the 4th of July ( U.S.A. Independence Day )

P.S. THANKS for the laughter !!!  :good:

I've been CURIOUS about Ubuntu.....but know nothing about it.  I recently purchased an older Laptop on Ebay and am considering a "dual-installation" on it for the purpose of LEARNING about Ubuntu.  I've been thinking about starting with Damn Small Linux.
( Although I haven't ANY programming experience OR education ....in THAT area....I suspect that starting with a small and simple Ubuntu like Damn Small Linux might provide me with some rudimentary understanding of this system. )
??? ....maybe.....We shall see........ :man_in_love:

GOOD ta meet ya, Claw !
Although we have our share of Winds and Dust-Storms here in New Mexico (particularly in Spring), We are FORTUNATE  to not have to deal with such "destructive" winds as hurricanes !!!

Unhappily, however.....We are somewhat short on Seacoast and Beachfront and the Marlin-fishing is very poor here.

Have a PLEASANT WEEK, Claw !

JoninOz
THANKS for the kind WELCOME !!!
I suppose you folks in OZ will be heading into "Summer" soon.  I'm scrounging for FIREWOOD so that I can keep my computer ( and my BULLDOG [boxer] ) WARM throughout our impending COLD "high altitude" WINTER here in "Wild-West" New Mexico, USA.
( Gotta also "pull-maintenace" on the Chicken-Coop so the hens feel like laying a little-bit during this upcoming WINTER....What's breakfast without "fresh" eggs? )

Wanna swap eggs and opals ?   Ha-Ha !!!
